I have the AR10 Diamond flat in the MR762A1 and the AR15 Diamond in the LMT 308 MWS, both operate perfectly. In my opinion the AR10 Diamond may be better if using "less than good" ammo, but I've not experienced any mis-fires/light strikes in the LMT so it is purely speculation based on the extra weight the AR10 hammer has.The problem with getting going for a AR-10 as a Jack-of-all-trades platform is while a grand can get you a good AR like a BCM, all $1000 gets you in the AR10 world is a something like a PSA or a bag of Aero parts. It's almost cheaper to get a good AR15, and a cheap hunting rifle, than a single middle of the road AR10.
