Has anyone here tried the new Enduron line from IMR? The IMR4451 is stated to be temperature stable and a replacement for the elusive H4350..

I see that the burn rates etc are almost identical. 0. They are produced at two different factories and have slightly different chemical make up. The same difference you`ll find between any two powders from two different makers with similar burn rate. They are not produced to be copys of each other, but to have similar burn rates only. Steve, That powder is intended to duplicate the IMR 4350, so I think you'll find that it will serve you well, at about the same charge level that you were using with the IMR version. Work up from a grain or so below the IMR 4350 level you were using, and search for the accuracy node.

I think theyre a little too slow burning for 120-140s IMO. A more appropriate powder would be IMR-8133, Ramshot Magnum ,even Retumbo. With these slower burning powders make sure your neck tension is set properly, this will help with inconsistent velocity’s, CBTO will also aid a lot. They are basicaly the same powder. there made from the same recipe. Keep in mind that alot of aa powders are surplus powder repackaged but then h4350 was origanaly a surplus powder itself.
