Pretty sure in the Jorge Joestar novel which takes place after 36 resets original giorno from reset 1 is just vibing with GER. So it can save Giorno thats for sure, but whether or not it could stop Pucci all together is debatable since it is more of an aoe effect and GER only negates thing relevant to giorno.For tradition to stop would imply that the curse is lifted, ending the series.
