Scottish playwright and poet Joanna Baillie (1762-1851) is a key figure in British Romantic-era literature. In recent years her writings her writings have returned to print, her plays have been performed in North America and the United Kingdom, and she has been the subject of several monographs and a biography.The era of Romantic music is defined as the period of European classical music that runs roughly from 1820 to 1900, as well as music written according to the norms and styles of that period.
